I’ll spare you the rest of our holiday photos, lest you fall asleep, but it still kind of amazes me that I can feel at home in a place like Chicago, full of so many people and so much bustle… and yet equally feel at home in my tiny northern English town, where you can’t walk half a mile without crossing paths with someone (or often, several someones) you know.
